We are pleased to announce that for another year we will be exhibiting at Gardiente trade fair that takes place from Sunday 30th June to Tuesday 2nd July at the Messecenter Rhein-Main exhibition centre in Hofheim-Wallau, Germany.

In its sixth edition, the Trade Fair for Garden Living will showcase the latest trends, innovations and developments in garden furniture, sunshades and stands, BBQs, textiles and accessories and an exhibitor portfolio of approximately 70 brands from the garden and outdoor living sector.

The time has come to share our excitement with the public and the first stop is this prestigious event, where we will unveil DuraLand and DuraOcean for the first time. The relaxed atmosphere of the event is the perfect opportunity to present our new materials and developments in the industry and establish lines of communication with our current and potential buyers.

In January 2019, we proudly presented DuraOcean, the first ScanCom chair produced 100% from ocean waste. One month later, we announced a partnership with German sustainability company, Der Grüne Punkt, to develop DuraLand. For Duraland our partners collect discarded plastics and process them into the raw materials we use to make our 100% recycled products. Similarly, with DuraOcean our partner salvage nets and ropes from the ocean and process them into pellets which we can use in our factories to manufacture our sustainable products. Both DuraLand and DuraOcean are made form 100% recycled plastics and are fully recyclable, following our commitment to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink in sustainable development and eco-innovative production methods.

DuraLand® and DuraOcean® chairs are beacons of sustainability and are the first fruit borne from ScanCom’s ongoing and highly promising partnerships. We all have a part to play in cleaning up the environment and tackling the problems caused by plastic waste; these elegant yet practical chairs are an exciting step into the future.
