We did it again! And what a worthwhile achievement it is, raising EUR 8361 for our charity projects in Vietnam, through our second ever ‘Tour De Scancom’ charity bike ride.

This year we are delighted to say we have once again exceeded our goal and are eternally grateful for all the support received from both the participants and those who donated to the cause.

In this, the second year of ScanCom’s charity bike tour, we rode the lush Mallorcan hills intending to raise $4,500. To exceed the target by such a margin surpassed all of our expectations and provides a welcome boost to the ongoing work of these ventures.

The funds raised will be used to support charitable projects in Vietnam that we are involved in through cooperation with Passion4Life(www.p4l.dk) and Make a Small Difference (MASD) (www.make-a-small-difference.com).

On the ride itself, we joined forces with selected customers and external stakeholders to help us achieve our charitable aims and also to spread the word about the excellent work our charity partners are doing and what plans lie ahead.

CSR is part of our corporate DNA because we understand the importance of making valuable contributions to those who really need it. It is an integral part of our daily operations and informs the way we conduct our business globally. As part of our ongoing commitment to Doing Business the Right Way – the ScanCom Way, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities in which our operations exist.
