General Job Function
As the Digital Development Manager, you will spearhead the organization’s digital transformation roadmap, aligning technological capabilities with business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in identifying digital needs across the workforce, fostering data analytics capabilities, and driving strategic initiatives to optimize resources and enhance ScanCom’s market presence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the company’s digital transformation strategy.
- Leveraging data analytics to assess processes, identify requirements, and deliver actionable policy recommendations.
- Providing strategic guidance, resolving escalated issues, and offering thought leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Establishing and monitoring key performance metrics to ensure successful deployment of ScanCom’s methodology.
- Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to align systems and processes with organizational goals.
- Proactively researching and implementing innovative digital solutions to enhance corporate systems.
- Responsibilities, Duties & Authorities
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate processes, determine requirements, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop and manage project tracking plans, ensuring initiatives are on schedule, appropriately resourced, and risks are mitigated.
- Establish and monitor key metrics to support scalability and enablement of ScanCom’s methodology, implementing solutions for underperforming metrics.
- Partner effectively with other departments to establish system standards and optimizations, ensuring seamless alignment and expansion.
- Actively research and integrate cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance corporate systems.
- Foster a performance-driven culture by identifying and nurturing talent to uphold ScanCom’s reputation for excellence.
Working Relationships
- Internal: Collaborate with all relevant departments within ScanCom.
- External: Engage with customers and third-party stakeholders as needed.
- Reporting Structure:
- Reports to: Global Finance Director
- Manages: Business Intelligent Team (4 direct reports)
Experience & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Management, Digital Transformation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or project management.
- At least 5 years in a management position, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic oversight.
Key Competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience with Technology/ERP systems/IT systems, preferably in furniture or production industries.
- Proven expertise in vendor selection, management, and system design, including application development (SDLC), business and IT processes, and information security.
- Experience in Digital Transformation strategies and support departments to automate process efficiently and optimize reports.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating with business management, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Track record of working independently to achieve ambitious personal and organizational goals.
- Proactive, dynamic, and growth-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Systematic and strategic thinking with excellent time management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong advantage.
