ScanCom Vietnam
With primary locations in Song Than and Long Giang, ScanCom Vietnam is the main production and logistics hub for the ScanCom Group. Here, everything related to full-wood, plastics, aluminium, and composite materials is produced, tested, packaged and shipped to our Global partners.
We lead the industry with innovative designs, sustainable solutions and a dedication to operational excellence – always aligned with our responsible vision and motto of ‘Doing Business the Right Way’.

ScanCom International A/S is founded in Korsør, Denmark.
First Hardwood collections from Vietnam come into being.
1996
First setup of Teak supply chain in operations from Java, Indonesia, is organised.
1998
ScanCom U.K. is born - ScanCom's first international Sales Office.
2001
ScanCom open first own operation in Brazil - a sawmill - delivering FSC Eucalyptus via ScanCom do Brasil.
ScanCom Germany opens its doors.
2002
ScanCom is the first private company to receive WWF's 'Gift to the Earth' award.
2003
ScanCom opens sales operation in the Americas.
2004
Consolidation of new head office and major Vietnam operations take place, with ScanCom opening office, factory and showroom in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
2005
Own production and formular for Petan - ScanCom's unique, synthetic ratan - is set up in Vietnam.
2006
ScanCom Vietnam achieves ISO:9001 certification and BSCI accreditation.
Turnover reaches 1 billion DKK.

Relocation of Global Headquarters to Vietnam.
FormWood comes into being, creating an approach to fight waste wood from own production.
